Managing Broker 45 Hour Pre-License Course (30 + 15)


Course Description

The Managing Broker Pre-License courses are offered in three different formats:

   • a 45 hour classroom session (45)

   • an online/classroom blend (30+15)

   • a self study book/classroom blend (30+15)

These courses are designed for Brokers who wish to manage an office or become a sole proprietor.
You must be a licensed broker and have practiced real estate for two consecutive years to be eligible for the Managing Broker license.

Choose your path from the options below, taking care to select a total of 45 hours of required education.

Managing Broker Pre-License Topics (45 Hours - Parts 1 & 2)

Complete your pre-license requirement in just 6 days! In class we cover licensing, operations, escrow, special accounts, paying licensees & assistants management and risk management, laws and legal issues. Discussions also focus on recruiting, brokerage support, transaction supervision, marketing and advertising, dispute resolution, company policies, disclosure issues, and industry issues. The interactive delivery module introduces participants to real world situations via role play. Topics covered include: dual agency disclosure problems, commission disputes, team activities, contract disputes, problems that arise with use of internet and social media for business, ethics, confidentiality issues, short sales and foreclosure problems, and clear title problems.

Managing Broker Pre-License Topics (30 Hours – Part 1)

This course covers licensing, operations, escrow, special accounts, paying licensees & assistants management and risk management, laws and legal issues. Discussions also focus on recruiting, brokerage support, transaction supervision, marketing and advertising, dispute resolution, company policies, disclosure issues, and industry issues.

Applied Management & Supervision, Interactive (15 Hours – Part 2)

This classroom / interactive delivery course introduces participants to real world situations via role play. Topics covered include: dual agency disclosure problems, commission disputes, team activities, contract disputes, problems that arise with use of internet and social media for business, ethics, confidentiality issues, short sales and foreclosure problems, and clear title problems.

*Self Study is not an option for this course
