The Basics of Web Design
Imagine how great it would be to have your own personal website. How much fun it would be to have your listings available on a site with your name on it. It's not as difficult as it might sound.
On December 3rd from 4:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., NSBAR will show you how to create your website, register it with the proper authorites, and update with ease and freqeuency. Botis Spektor (who single-handedly created the Village of Winettka's homepage) who demonstrate the very basics of getting your own site up and running. This class is for those beginners unafraid to stake their claim on the information superhighway.
Because this class is very hands-on, we will limit the number who can attend to 15. *Prerequisite: Agents must be able to cut/paste and find 'my computer' on the startup menu" in order to take and appreciate this class. About the Speaker
Boris Spector recieved raved reviews when he taught at NSBAR earlier this year. He has been working at New Trier High School since 1994. He has been the district's web developer since 2000. He holds an M.S.Ed. in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University and an M.A. degree in Education and Linguistics from the Kiev State Linguistic University. In addition to technology and languages, Boris enjoys history, jogging and literature. He loves meeting new people, and sharing his passions with them. Boris provides instruction in various levels of web design and in Microsoft applications at NTX, and has designed this website for NTX.
